Welcome to ViCa psychologist practice!
We are Erik & Tina, two psychologists with long experience of treatment, assessment and supervision. We treat and assess many different problems, our speciality is stressrelated issues and trauma treatment. Erik has a diploma in the method Prolonged Exposure, and Tina is a certified EMDR practitioner. We offer assessment and treatment in English. We also offer neuropsychological testing and assessment (for example regarding ADHD or autism spectrum disorders) in English.
When you email us (info@vicapsykolog.se) we can either offer you an appointment immediately or answer any questions you may have. We will normally reply to your email within 24 hours and offer an appointment within the coming week.
The first session is to help you get a feel for us and how we work, so you will meet both of us, this is to give you an opportunity to feel if the chemistry is better with one of us and also which method you prefer. During this first session we will ask you a lot of questions about your life now and earlier, to help us understand how your problems have started and developed as well as your attempts to address them. It is helpful if you before this first session try to prioritise what your three most pressing/important issues are if there are many things that trouble you. At the end of this session we will check that we have understood you correctly and give our suggestions for what kind of treatment we think will be most helpful to you. You will also be given this information in writing, to think about at home before you make your decision.
Our sessions last 45 minutes, this costs 1200 SEK (including the first session, when you meet us both)
If you prefer you can also book 90 minutes, this costs 1800 SEK. We do not have a contract with Region Skåne, only with insurance companies.
A neuropsychological assessment costs 31 000 SEK.
